Kingdom of Wonder
In Cambodia tourism has grown significantly over the last 10 years. From a few 100,00 tourists a decade ago, Cambodia received an estimated 2.2 million visitors this year. The importance of the tourism industry is well understood, having created a lot of jobs and improved livelihoods.
The ministry however would like to stress that Cambodia has more to offer than only Angkor Wat. Whilst the temple complex is the main reason of the increasing numbers of tourists to Cambodia, there are many places worth visiting as well. This is why the ministry has made some promotional videos of different parts of Cambodia. These videos can also been seen on CNN.
