We also participated in the production of GRIP-das Motormagazine- to the jungle, a program broadcasted on German TV channel RTL2. The program features popular German actor Axel Stein and GRIP host Matthias Malmedie, who both drive a Skoda Yeti through the wildest and most extreme roads in Cambodia.
GRIP anchorman Matthias Malmedie and actor Axel Stein travel to Cambodia and embark on an exciting expedition in the Skoda Yeti. Their journey takes them right across the country. They have to prove their skills in various disciplines behind the wheel of the Czech SUV. The challenge begins in Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh, where the two first have to pass a local driving test. After that, they continue via Kampong Thom to Siem Reap. On the 500-kilometer route, Matthias and Axel can also expect many benzine-fueled challenges. For example, in a boat race or an off-road challenge in which skill, speed and knowledge are tested.
